My name is Dale Jackan and I am a wildlife biologist with a passion for reptiles and amphibians. This webpage is dedicated to my wildlife photography, finding jobs, and anything else I may find time for. I have been a wildlife biologist for over 15 years working on research projects and for environmental consulting firms. Fall 2019 I completed my A.S. degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I have always been interested in GIS and it always came across as a natural extension of Biology and environmental consulting. GIS is a great tool for planning, and delving deeper into questions related to location and the environment. I can be reached at dale at jackan dot info if you have any questions. The finer details concerning me can be found in my About section and my Resume section.
My other interests include photography, open-source software, building computers, baking breads and pies, motorcycles, canoeing and kayaking, hiking, archery, and other assorted things I can never find enough time for.
